Gas Panel GUI
This is an example
of a Gas Panel GUI developed for use in the Semiconductor industry.
The GUI allows for two modes of operation; Manual and Automatic.
Automatic mode allows the user to program or load existing profiles for
automated execution. This project presented an interesting challenge due to the fact that it is RS232 to RS485. Each channel required communication between the PC and four micro controlled devices to implement real time monitor and control of the process. The micro controllers did not buffer any commands sent to them and echoed back each command issued.
